Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic Ambulance

Each Paramedic ambulance has state-of-the-art emergency medical equipment like the latest emergency heart monitor from Zoll Medical which can provide (TCP) Transcutaneous Pacing, 12 Lead EKG, and Capanography.

Antelope Ambulance Service is an approved Paramedic provider for Los Angeles and Kern Counties.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Basic Ambulance

Antelope Ambulance Service has been recognized by the Los Angeles County EMS Agency as the only private ambulance provider in Los Angeles County (other than the primary 9-1-1 providers) that has equipped all Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulances with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) units. An AED is used during a sudden cardiac emergency when the heart stops (no pulse) to provide a shock in order to restart the heart. The AED is used in conjunction with CPR.

Each BLS ambulance is staffed by two highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians. Antelope Ambulance Service is an approved BLS provider for Los Angeles County.

Bariatric Transport

Antelope Ambulance Service provides upon request a special gurney that is designed for bariatric patient transports. The gurney, made by Stryker Medical, is designed to move patients between 350 – 1,600 lbs.
